Our Teen Camp Staff

Omega Teen Camp has a mature fun-loving staff of over 60 counselors and teachers. Our camp staff brings a wide diversity of talents and gifts. Many of our camp counselors are seasoned professionals in the fields of art, music, counseling, culinary arts, dance, filmmaking and other creative mediums. Our counselors all share a deep respect for teenagers and a desire to help create a powerful, safe, wonderful experience for each and every teenager.

Summer Jobs

Many of our teen camp counselors are returning staff members although we do hire individuals that have never worked as camp counselors before. Our staff is comprised of a broad spectrum of cultural and geographic backgrounds, making Omega Teen Camp's staff community quite diverse.

All of our camp counselors live in bunks with about 10-12 children and at least one other staff member.

We have a week long pre-season orientation for camp staff just before kids arrive. We use this precious time as an opportunity to get closer and learn to know ourselves as a community. During this training period Counselors are briefed on OTC policies and guidelines. There is also ample opportunity for role playing exercises and coaching, in preparation for the season to come. Our staff find this to be a valuable experience for them to draw from during their stay at camp.
